About Me

On April 25, 2023; myself in the Brenta Selvaggia, in Trentino, near Rifugio Croz dell’Altissimo—surrounded by snow.

I’m Andrea Zagaria, a licensed clinical psychologist. I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology from the University of Turin, both with top honors, and later completed a PhD in Psychometrics cum laude at the University of Trento. I’m officially registered with the A-List of Psychologists of Piemonte (no. 9935).

Over the years, I’ve worn many hats—from children’s entertainer and school educator to university researcher. Thanks to my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to work with many people from all over the world and spend two periods abroad—one in Edinburgh (UK) and the other in Vienna (Austria).

My journey into psychology is deeply personal. You can read more about my story here.

For me, being a psychologist has a profound meaning. That doesn’t mean it’s always easy; like anything in life, it has its challenges. However, it is one of the few jobs in the contemporary era in which reality unveils, and that’s why I love it.
